Kortney Adcock

 Educational Manager/Acting & Vocal Instructor

Kortney Adcock is a graduate of Florida Southern College with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a Minor in Music. With a love for teaching and a passion for the arts, Kortney has followed her theatrical dreams from her hometown in Florida to the west coast and back, teaching students of all ages. Most recently, she toured NY state bringing arts integrated workshops to Elementary and Middle school students, taught music and choreography to local students and assisted in the facilitation of a multi-faceted youth touring company all with The Rev Theatre Company (formerly known as the Merry-Go-Round Youth Theatre). Additionally, she was the Drama Department Head at Cape Cod Sea Camps, the Children’s Program Director at the Bristol Valley Theatre, a teaching artist and education intern with the Sacramento Theatre Company and an educational theatre intern with the Patel Conservatory at the Straz Center in Tampa, FL. Kortney has taught classes and held various directorial roles within children’s productions throughout her many adventures and delights in helping her students find their voice and confidence through the arts.
She is so incredibly excited to join Acting Out! where she will continue to cultivate her passion for teaching and continuously grow her love for sharing the joy of theatre with future generations.
