Marielle Young is a New York City based actor and teacher born and raised in Queens. Her television credits include Blue Bloods on CBS, Major Crimes (spinoff of The Closer) on TNT, and Bonding on Netflix. Her theatre credits include A Doll’s House, Part 2 (dir. Ted Pappas) at the Pittsburgh Public Theater; Twelfth Night (dir. Moritz von Stuelpnagel), The Book of Will (dir. Davis McCallum), and Kate Hamill’s Pride & Prejudice at the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival; Love’s Labour’s Lost (dir. Ian Belknap) with The Acting Company; Mary’s Wedding (dir. Colette Robert) and The Night Alive (dir. Daniel Elihu Kramer) at Chester Theatre Co; and Miss Bennet… (dir. Maggie Mancinelli-Cahill) at Capital Rep. She has participated in workshops and readings at Clubbed Thumb, Ensemble Studio Theater, Ars Nova, and more. She attended SUNY Purchase and LaGuardia Performing Arts High School.Â
