Tristan Shuler
TRISTAN SHULER
(Musical Theatre Instructor)
Being a theatre instructor is more than just teaching someone how to sing or act; it’s teaching them how to be a stronger, more confident and creatively-inclined human being. Every lesson and exercise in Tristan’s classroom leads towards building that essence of a young actor – so that they may journey towards an acting (or really any) career feeling fearless and fully capable.
Tristan works as a NYC-based actor, director, acting coach, and script supervisor for new musicals in development. Starred in Off-Broadway’s Spamilton: An American Parody, Cruel Intentions: the 90’s Musical Experience, and appeared in the revival of Urinetown: the Musical. Tristan teaches master classes and intensive workshops throughout the tri-state area and is a huge advocate for new works in musical theatre and young up-and-coming talent. Specializes in audition prep, character work, and movement for the actor. Trained at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts with additional studies internationally with Teatro Potlach.
