The Mischief Makers Theatre Company came out of artists’ hunger to create. It all starts with a dream, an idea. An idea to collaborate, to create, to cultivate and ultimately to share. We as teachers spend many hours planting seeds in the minds and hearts of our young students. Year after year we nourish and encourage that seed to grow, and each year we watch the harvest take place as our students step onto the Tantrum Theater stage and perform. Brooklyn women shone bright on Wednesday, March 16 as 34 of the borough’s successful entrepreneurs, business owners and community leaders were honored at Star Network’s 2016 Power Women in Business Awards and Networking Event. Julia Ecock and Alexis Taliento have both been Acting Out students for years! They both studied with us to get into Mark Twain JHS 3 years ago (and got in!), and studied with us again this year to get into the top performing arts High Schools of their choice (and got in!) so it's no surprise that Mark Twain had a tough decision to make when casting their lead in this year's production.
